AM-2 stone  This medium soft aluminum oxide stone is by far the most popular finishing stone. Soft and fast cutting, it produces a smooth surface finish on all mold steel types. Especially the finer 600, 900 or 1200 grit stones are perfect  before diamond polishing. NOTE: This stone can be used on nonferrous metals as well.
