Ruby Sharpening or Roughing Stones are perfect for removing cutter & grinding marks on molds, knife blades and other metal surfaces. Made from premium aluminum oxide grains, Ruby stones are extremely fast cutting & perform well on all types of tool steels. They can be used either by hand or with various reciprocating filing machines. You can use this stone with a lubricant.  Grit size ranges from 60 to 220 mesh. PRICED AND SOLD ONE STONE EACH. HAVE TO BE PURCHASED BY THE BOX (MINIMUM 12 PIECES)  

NOTE: We have been told that our 60 grit Ruby Stones (6" x 1" x 1/4") is often used as a Sharpening Stone and can be equipped with an aluminum mounting plate suitable for use with EdgePro and Hapstone sharpening Systems (only available when custom made by Gritomatic).
