THROUGH HOLE Brass Lap Sets, individual laps & spare parts

Though-Hole brass laps can be used to precission lap holes that are bored through plates, etc. To arrive at the precission lapped bore size, increasingly expand the lap by means of the adjusting screw while lapping/honing the bore until the desired "inside diameter" is accomplished. Use diamond compound when lapping pre-hardened tool steel from 35 to 60 RC. For regular "untreated" tool steel types use aluminum oxide or silicon carbide "lapping compound". Through Hole Laps are available in sets, complete lap assemblies or as individual service parts. PRICED AND SOLD 1 UNIT EACH!

NOTE: EACH LAP EXPANDS UP TO 15% REACHING THE DIAMETER OF NEXT LARGER AVAILABLE LAP SIZE.  Individual shanks will accommodate both "blind hole" or "through hole" laps. All shanks are listed in the "Blind Hole" section!
