"HARD" Polishing Brushes are made using the finest, black (very stiff) "Chungking" bristles. "SOFT" Polishing Brushes consist of fine "Goat" or "Horse Hair". "Brass" Polishing Brushes are made with either .003" & .005" dia "crimped" or "straight" brass wire. "Steel" & or "stainless steel" wire-fill Polishing Brushes have mostly .005" dia. wire for extra strength.
While hard and then soft natural bristle polishing brushes are perfect for "final" diamond polishing, the "wire-fill" brass or steel polishing brushes work well with coarse grain diamond compounds for finishing surfaces that require a less perfect polish.
